Question 2 dumb questions from a brown thumb

and that's putting it mildly - I kill any plant I look at. Thank goodness for my husband!

Anyway, on to the dumb questions:

Is there really such a thing as a tomato tree? I've seen the commercials for the Tomato Giant Tree and I drool.

Has anyone successfully brought a dwarf banana tree to fruitation? How long did it take?

Thanks!

Not dumb questions at all.
Tomato plants grow either vine like or bush like naturally. Those so called tree tomatos are bush type plants that grow tall to about 8 feet or so. Many shrub plants can be trained to grow tree like by selecting a strong stem, staking it and trimming off the lower foilage.
Here's information on dwarf banana trees: Dwarf Banana Trees
