Maybe a stray from up north, still have 2 feeders out.

Sunflower - incredible photos! WOW!
I grew up in Wisconsin and never saw a hummingbird until I moved to Colorado.
On a side note, I looked at your blog and I am so very sorry about your beloved Golden. She looked like a real sweetheart. Please accept my condolences.

I had my hubby come over to take a look at your photos and he told me at least yoiu guys kinow how to take a good picture! I do ok but as of yet haven't tried posting any! I love the pics. I love hummingbirds! I still have my two little guys---I'm getting a little worried as it's cooling off quite quickly here. But as long as they need to eat I will supply the food!!

Here is one of the last hummers we saw on a very chilly morning (40 degrees) a few days before they left for good. What a tough little birdie!
I would like to add that I am so glad I found this forum. The people here are the kindest, nicest, most helpful and lovely people I have come across on any forum! Thank you all.

Those are all lovely photos! Thank you all for sharing them with us. I still have a few hummers, but not many...maybe 3 or 4...after this rain and the cold spell, I'm sure they'll be gone.
