Good morning, folks.
Strange... I posted a photo last night of our brave little friend. This morning it is not there. I will post it again.

Ah, he's looking a little cold! Looks like he's getting some of that much needed weight so he may be heading out soon. What a cute pic--thanks for sharing.

I see that the group photo is missing too. This has happened before. You may want to post it again too as that was a very rare glimpse of such a large group.

I agree- please post that photo again. It's not common to see that many hummingbirds on or around a feeder! It's a lovely picture.

That has happened to me before, too, Ned. Then I established a photobucket account, and it has been smooth posting ever since.

I agree with Cyn; that guy looks a little chilly... I'll bet he's not long for your area!

Weird. I just looked... post #103 shows the "hummerpalooza" photo again.
The "chilly Willy" photo was taken on September 14 -- he was around for 2 more days after that. He had that feeder all to himself so I hope he was well fed for his journey.

I checked post 103 and still have no photo in it? I had a glitch like this once and the administrator fixed it and all has been well since. I'll check it periodically to see if it comes back for me too.

Oh my....sigh.....yesterday and today my hummingbird feeder still sits full and has no visitors. All the little hummers have started on their long journey. Be safe little guys----see you next spring!

I have been lurking here for some time now.
Possibly my favorite thread.
Glad to know I'm not the only onethat feels this way in the Fall when they leave.
We have been having 20=30 of them here in Vermont each Summer, why they come here not sure lol, summer's are so short here.
A couple pics......
Usually had several of them fighting over blossoms.
And I don't have any fancy equipment..obviously lol, just did it for fun and memories,
These are not high quality or anything but I had fun...itch itch...despite the bug bites.
***Finally got a pic of one in the flowers.
They would flit around there all day.
We had about 30 of the wee Birds and this was just luck, didn't even know it was there lol.
Albeit lord knows I had been trying to get pics of them.
I knew the best way was to probably just take pics of the flowers and hope one would show up
It is posing right in the middle on top.

This is one at one of our 3 feeders we had up.
It was often full of birds ...waiting line.
Sadly my one feeder I left for travelers has been vacant ...sigh.

Won't be long now will start feeding our other feathered friends, Spring seems years away, Winter's are just too long here.
Nice to have a place here where I can come and pout.

This site has lots of Hummingbird pics.
