Same here, I usually put my small feeder up by the 15th for the scouts. But the last few years they've arrived a little earlier (last year we had one on the 13th). There's snow in the forecast on and off all week but that never keeps them away. Maybe I'll put the feeder up on Wednesday.

I'm with you LIc....haven't seen any but want the scouts to have opportunity for food while traveling...

Cleaned out the feeder and put it back out yesterday. Had a guy there this afternoon

We've got a lot of hostas in the back yard that they love during the summer. We had a heavy frost Saturday night/Sunday morning and a low of about 24. I was concerned but the hostas look like they came through OK. Ought to make the hummers happy.

I have worried about the feeders attracting ants.....has that been a problem?

Where I bought my hummingbird feeder they sold this stuff called Nectar Fortress Natural Ant Repellent that comes in a tube. You're supposed to spread it on paths the ants would take to go to the nectar.

The feeder is my yard is being used by something. I have never seen a hummer use it but the liquid is decreasing daily. Do they come at night to drink?

I don’t think they come at night. Perhaps you have a leak?
