I spotted these flowers in someone's front yard in the Bay Area (California)... could anyone identify? Thank you!
That, my friend, is a Lantana. They are annuals in some areas and perennial in others. Here's another picture I found for you to compare....they are indeed beautiful.
I spotted these (attached) in a garden in Gilroy, California... What kind of flower is it? Thanks in advance!

Birds leave us lantana everywhere here. But, they're more a gangly bush type with mixed colors blue, pink, yellow. Red is rare.
Yep, it's a Rose of Sharon. I've got several of them in my yard. They're easy-care shrubs and the flowers are beautiful and come in quite a variety of colors. It's a little early in the season here, so mine aren't blooming yet. A couple more weeks should do it.

I grew dozens from seed in one gallon pots years ago. Planted three just in front of our front porch. The kids black lab kept rubbing against them killing them. After replacing them several times I have one lone survivor.
