Yay on the tomatoes. I just planted 16 tomato plants outside today. I am about 2 month behind you.

Did you get seeds for the Zipper peas? Here is a blog that might help.

Right now we have mature oranges, tangerines, 2 kinds of figs and guavas.
We planted olive trees early this spring, and are going to plant another variety this fall, along with peaches and chestnuts.
We are also gonna plant blueberry bushes and some more thornless blackberries.
I would dearly love to have some cherry and apple trees, but thats just not gonna happen this far south.

I did them up like this;

Only I used fresh dill.
The watermelons are really starting to run, they seem to have doubled in length since the weekend.
Corn is tasseling out, we got a late start on that this year.

My little garden is starting to really pop. I picked my first crop of green beans yesterday, the tomatoes are growing and there are some sweet little baby yellow squash and melons. The first cucumber is almost ready to pick.

The watermelon is going crazy, so are the cucumbers, we are gonna be giving them away soon.
The eggplant is being rather pokey about doing anything, not sure why.
My basil is going wild, too, I have been harvesting every few days and drying, I am going to be making pesto and freezing it this weekend.
Blooms on all the pepper plants.......now if it would just rain.

Hopefully when we get back from our 9 day trip to Vegas our grape tomatoes will be getting ripe. There are a lot of them, but they are still green as green can be. Of course we haven't had very warm weather the past week and the nights have been in the low to mid 40s.
