The rain stopped and I was able to plant my onion bulbs down. I planted them at the edge, the purpose is to hold the dirt down.

Finally dry enough here, we got our potatoes out today. 3-100' rows of white Kennebec, and 3-100' rows of yellowish Yukon Gold. (50lb bag of each)

planted corn yesterday. I'm hoping to plant okra and cucumbers tomorrow. Potatoes are looking good and I'm still able to find the asparagus among the weeds

Good luck. Cold is on the way for this weekend but then will warm up. I don't see any crazy heat for you yet but naturally heat is on the way soon for you. once those soil temps go over 70 you'll see those cukes grow rapidly.

You reminded me, I wanna try corn again this year. Not enough heat or sun here to really get it going good. We'll see.

Peppers doing well.

I'll have to start hardening off this week so in 2 weeks they can go out which is slightly earlier than normal.

Cambium,
they look so healthy and green but let me ask you: what the heck are you going to do with all those plants? That is a lot of peppers.

Eating, giving away and I'll be drying them to make pepper flakes and bottling them up and giving them away to family and friends. Will be first time doing it so we'll see how it goes.

Yesterday I was getting some more pots ready. Luckily 12 yrs ago I found someone on Craigslist that was giving away a bunch of pots for free! I took them.

So I have at least 50 pots I'll be putting the peppers in.
