I'm in Southern California, but can only speak anecdotally and not scientifically about any renewed activity of bees. I've noticed a bit more of them here as opposed to the previous three years. From what I understand of the bee crisis, it might have involved only the bee industry artificially making hives portable, so what was publicized might have been an issue for the agriculture industry rather than wildlife. Still, there seemed to be fewer bees anyway.

Has anyone noticed more bees in the garden?

I'm from Indiana and last year I saw more bees than I've seen in years. We are already seeing them this year.

I saw more honeybees last year compared to the last few when they were nearly non-existent.
