interesting. ive always been told (by my elders) that talking to plants is essential to their survival. also when you prune, cut back, pick flowers etc etc you ask them permission. well you dont really ask them. you just tell them what you are about to do. it sounds silly, but the one time i didnt do it, the plant i transplanted died.
coincidence? maybe.
ever since then i always inform my plants of what im doing to them, whats going on. just to keep them informed, let them know they are loved. sure the neighbors think im crazy. but then again they also admire my garden the most...
