We have a yoshino cherry tree that was just loaded with blossoms this year. They are now falling off, and I have filled two large bags. Do you think I could use them as a mulch? The petals are thin and will turn light brown.
The garden I want to mulch has knockout roses and other acidic plants, about the same pH as the cherry tree. It already has some hardwood mulch, but could use a little more. Any thoughts?
