My first garden looks pretty healthy, I think, lol. A couple of my green bean plant leaves have a few small nibbles. At least it looks like nibbles. Are there any home remedies for this? Can I sprinkle or spread something around the plant to keep them safe? It's just on a couple of leaves. Also if I see any bad leaves should I pinch them off?

Thanks for your help.

Careful, sounds like you have some hungry bunnies or chipmunks or even squirrels after your bean plants! I would get them protected by chicken wire fencing before you have to replant! I learned that lesson the hard way last year!

I have bird netting over them but maybe they are sneaking in through the side. Hmm. I'll check that. Thanks.

I go to Sam's Club and buy those restaurant sized cayenne pepper spice containers. It is my secret weapon and go to thing when I see tracks, nibbles in my garden. Once they get the pepper on their lips they tend to not come back. You do have to sprinkle again after rains but it works for me. Keeps cats out of flower beds too.

Jaxson- Do you sprinkle the Cayenne on the ground around each plant? Thanks for the tip.

OK everyone I went up and took a couple of pictures. Whatever is happening it is at the beginning stages. I only have a few leaves that look like they have been munched.

And I just found a couple of leaves with spotting. Any ideas?

Thanks all. Sorry if I am a pain in the butt, lol. I would rather catch something early then have it destroy or infest my whole garden.

Thanks for the help.
