I agree and my brother and I are trying to do this with our garden but not just with watermelons but Pumpkins as well.

These are certainly interesting. I saw this some time aog in an email someone sent me. Leave it to those industrious-ingenius Japanese to figure out new angles (pun intended)

A few years ago Guerney's seed catalogue had molds for some vegetables that had faces on them. Like smaller pumpkins, squash, etc. Must not have worked very well. Only saw them that one year.

The molds I saw in the catalogue were clear plastic that snapped together.

Correct me if I'm wrong but are'nt catalogues already square or at the very least rectangular ???
