Hi All,

I am looking at raising my bedding (pesky dogs).

Has anyone obtained cedar planks? If so, where? All I can find are big time suppliers - along the lines of suppliers to home constructions.

Thanks,

Either Home Depot or Lowes should have cedan planks, but if I were spending that much money on raised beds I would skip natural wood altogether and go with a composite product like Trex. It looks good and will last, virtually, forever. . . also a good "recycled" product!

we built our deck out of white cedar. it grows here in michigan and we were able to get it from a local sawmill. perhaps a lumber yard could order in what you want if they don't carry it.

My husband just used cedar fence pickets to build some raised beds. They were much cheaper per foot than the 12-foot boards. They're only about 6 feet long so I don't know if that will work for you.
