SO, MAINE BLUEBERRIES WIN BY FAR!
THERE MUST BE SOMETHING IN THAT SOIL, WATER,ETC. THAT MAKE THEM SOOOOOO YUMMY!

I tried going into the COMPUSERVE FORUM, and it is NOT free, I will try again later...

I used it last year and had forgotten my password/screen name and tried to register again--as you say it no longer seems to be 'Free'.

It is one of the older online forums---there were membership fees then they changed and anyone could register and now they have changed again.

I'm certain you received excellent FYI here and there's always Google--millions of links on just about every topic.

I'm in GA and the University of GA has a resource department for the community--horticulture/gardening--I imagine other universities do the same. You could contact one in New England if the question is beyond the scope of online forums.

I would love to sample blueberries from different regions--LOL--love them.

Blackberries, too.

Yum. IIRC, the blackberries ripen in mid June in the SE. My cousin and I used to pick them and eat them suffering the chigger bites and briars. My grandmother made some delicious blackberry jam and jelly.
