Hello, I am new to gardening and I need help . I just received a bare root daylily. I realized after I planted it that I should have soaked the roots in water first. What should I do? Thanks so much!!

it takes alot to kill a daylilly. I have dug them up to move, forgotten them for several days/weeks and then barely threw dirt at them and they still bloom ., daylillies are your best perennial investment in my opinion.
