What is still growing in your vegetable garden? (October) (containers, vines, crape)

My second crop of peas this year are LOVING this weather. They say peas are a cool season crop, and well, I think they will happily continue to grow until the soil in my planter freezes up. They'll be brought in long before that though.

Coctail tomatoes & some jet star tomatoes. Another tom. plant that just appeared late. Nobody planted it, so we think a flying bird passed over & sow the seed. If you know what i mean. We still have 5 bell pepper plants producing. Some of the other b. pepper plants have nothing but hanging flowers.

Sunflowers are hanging low. Waiting for them to dry out (if the rain stays away long enough). Then hang them in plant room to dry & put out this Winter when it's cold for the birds to enjoy.

Cosmos are still bloomng looking beautiful.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the stuff the deer won't eat: we have rosemary & more mints, tarragon, garlic & onions too.

We still have cherry tomatoes and some regular tomatoes. Have dug up some but no where near all of the sweet potatoes.

I've dug up my garden from the summer and getting prepared to plant a winter garden. I think I am going to plant broccoli, beets, radishes, and peas

People who can have both winter and summer gardens make me want to cry, but I can rationalize that I don't care cause we have beautiful season changes...

Snow peas and cabbage. After a leg injury, I lost the rest of my veggies to the drought and lack of picking. So....maybe next year will be better. Gonna try that square foot gardening thing people talk about, but with a twist. I'll focus on tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, squash, and okra.
