I like this idea, but am nervous about trying to trap a wild animal. I don't want to get attacked. Did your neighbor find it an easy thing to do?

Before you do any trapping whatsoever you need to check VA regs, that's why I suggested checking around. For reference MD forbids the trapping and release of foxes (as well as raccoons, skunks and coyotes) due to the rabies threat.
