I have an outdoor planter with various herbs in it, and recently I've been finding a good deal of little (like 3 mm diameter) white-to-beige colored balls in the soil. At one point I picked one up and accidentally gave it a bit too much pressure and it burst--was filled with some sort of fluid.
Are these eggs? Do I need to do something about them? I know that snails have recently been enjoying my garden...could it be snail eggs?
Great info. I'd seen those before in my planters and never knew what they were. Thanks!
