Need info on Mrs. C.A. Histed's Maternity Hospital in New York (I believe Binghamton). It was open around 1920s-1930s. It was located at 17 Kress St and then moved to 44 Beldon St. I got this info from ads she posted in the Binghamton Press. Her last name was Howey and then changed to Histed. I guess she married.
She also adopted out some babies.
Did she keep records?
Where are they?
Were the adoptions legal? Did she give adoptive parents any paperwork on birth parents?
Any of her family members out there?
