I already found out when my great grandmother ended up in Washington DC where she eventually met my great grandfather, where they lived in the same apartment complex as her parents.
What I really need though, is the MA census done. My grandfather was a toddler at that point, and I am missing who his mother was, and the only other info I can find is from some nitwit on ancestory.com who has information that is clearly incorrect. This census should hopefully uncover that.
I don't believe they're going in any particular order. All the states are being indexed as we speak, some will be finished sooner than others for various reasons.
1940 Census: I found several of my ancestors, including my dad, on Family Search yesterday. Sure beats doing the original street search when the 1940 Census first came out in April!
Ancestry.com have several more states done, including some states that FamilySearch.org seemed to neglect. Despite having more states indexed and searchable than ACOM, 4 of the states FamilySearch haven't finished are available at ACOM.
