Noticed there are a lot of Pursers in NC and GA would be interested to know if any are decendants of Pursers from Bedfordhire UK.

They would have to be traced back to know that. Have you researched the NC and GA families in census and other records to find out their origin?

I was hoping that a Purser from those areas might have done that.

Lots of people wish someone else would do their genealogy. That's why some people swipe others' family trees and claim them for their own.

I know my ancestry as i'm a descendant of the Pursers from Bedfordshire,but as i live in Australia i was just wondering about the Pursers in the US. Simples. Maybe just one of them might have done some checking.

You might be able to check this by looking up the Pursers in the US census records and seeing if they trace back to Beds. If the family has been there since before the census began, 1790, the search might be inconclusive, however. www.familysearch.org

Many thanks BJH on one of those sites, i found someone of the family i had lost touch with, he had done a lot of work in regards to the Purser family in the UK, he is now in the process of looking into the US side of the family.
