Yes, that is their son. I have their descendants in my line; I'm working on Francis' father.

Have you tried contacting the Methodist Church mentioned on their son's birth record?

Maybe Francis was married there? They might have records including names of his parents.

I'm trying to determine which Methodist Church it is.

Try contacting the local historical society & ask what Methodist churches existed at the time of Francis' son's birth.
