A haircut and you could scrub up quite nicely

I think your skin is pale, and I'd associate that with the UK

Why does the Genealogy section always get the inane photo topics asking about ethnicity or nationality? Does it have any relevance to your ancestry? If not, it is off-topic.

You can pass for Irish as I have seen Irish people that look similar to you.

what does an English person look like? White skin or very pale skin and light brown or red haired? Blue or grey eyes?...Not any longer.... There is no typical English or typical Western European nowadays?

I've spent a fair amount of time in Britain since the 1970s when I first started going over regularly for work and pleasure and my daughter married a British man and lives in Wiltshire after some years in London. I now have two English grandchildren.

As with any country there is a variety of appearances which makes it difficult to guess a nationality judging simply based on looks, there are body types and physical appearances that are more prevalent in the British isles. That's not to say you can't see the same types in other countries but when it's combined with clothes, haircuts and body language you can with some accuracy tell the difference between a British and a German and an American. Popular British fashion isn't the same as popular American or continental fashion.

The French also have several physical characteristics that are "gallic." Not everyone has it but when you see it you can with some confidence assume the person is French.
