OMG there is a genealogy forum here. So cool! Has anyone here done an ancestral DNA test? I have been wanting to do it for ages and finally got around to picking 23andme over the ancestry.com test and the dnatribes. Have you done one? Did you feel the results were pretty accurate? I chose 23andme because it had an 8 out of 10 in ratings. The Ancestry.com test had a 3 out of 10 and I couldn't find that kind of info for the third one.
I don't know if anyone else has pointed out, but Ancestry.com now allows you to download the raw data from their DNA tests (you couldn't when I first got my test from them). This is useful for then uploading to a site like GEDmatch.com. I just found out about this last week.
