I'm wondering how population distribution affects the results we get on DNA relatives.

The poll is anonymous.

You get to decide which description of a region best fits where you live.

I guess I will have to vote SE. I was born in the Deep South but currently live in the Midwest.

That would be Midwest then. The pole is asking where people currently live.

How exactly does where I currently live affect my testing for DNA?

Exactly. I was born in MS and consider it Deep South.

But OP wants to know where i live at this time. What if I tested Deep South (I lived 5 years in AL before moving to Midwest) but currently live in MW?

What info am I relaying here and how is it helpful to OP? I have a DNA relative who currently lives in Australia but she was born a county away from me.

I will await OP's response.

wow...how could this be so complicated? simple instructions; "where do you live?" who knows how its usefuyl to the OP, probably just curious if one area of the country is more in to genetic testing. But nonethless, way to make a simple question difficult.
