Okay, I don't know which one of these people I'm related to biologically. I know I'm related to one of them though. They need to fit the criteria:

http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/s...%20Ancestrycom

Lived in Minnesota in and/or around 1945

Moved back to Wisconsin, or Illinois after a falling out with a spouse.

I don't have an ancestry account, so can someone see when Armand and Ronald lived in Minnesota? And if Armand lived in Wisconsin or Illinois also? I have a feeling that I'm related to Ronald, but want to know if he lived in Minnesota in the 40s or early 50s.

http://=http://search.ancestry.com/c... - Ancestrycom

I might also be the decendant of Harry (Bellotti). Do the records indicate he was married in the 40s or 50s?

Bellotti - Ancestry.com

Many thanks if you help me!

Ps: if none fit the exact criteria, who would you guess is the one who I'm related to?

Hi, I can't get your links to work.

In the meantime, have you tried the updated Familysearch.org? They have the 1940 Census but now have the US Public Records (as of last week). It might be worth a try (it's free):

I've tried, but can't find anything. Because it doesn't include the minnesota record, and I want to know when he lived in minnesota. I'll try to get the link to work now. Just copy and paste. They're not parsed this time, so It should work I think.

PM me what you hope to discover and I will look.
Is there a marriage or birth specifically you are looking for?

I do not post information on living people, but I will pm you anything that ancestry shows.

I tried to repair those links but was unsuccessful. They lead to Ancestry if you copy and paste. I would have done some searches but didn't have time.

I'm not sure what you mean - Minnesota was included in the 1940 US census.

There's no Armand or Ronald Bilotti listed in Saint Paul, MN in the 40s or 50s in the search results from this link. There are some records by those names but Armand was living there in the 90s and Roland's birth is listed as in the 60s so he couldn't be the one you're looking for in the 40s or 50s.

At least, that's what comes up on the search engine - you should be aware that some of the city directories are indexed by OCR - optical character recognition. Which means the spellings can be way off or some entries not indexed at all. You really have to search for them manually to get the best results. So I had a quick look for any Bilotti in St Paul in 1944 and 1948 by going directly to the page in the actual scanned documents where they would be listed. There is no one with that surname at all, let alone Armand and Ronald. There are some listing for Bilotta but no Armand or Ronald.

I did find Harry Bellotti in St Paul in 1944 and 1948 though and he was married to Ruth A. Bellotti by 1948.

At www.familysearch.org found:

It looks like there were two men name Armand BILOTTI born in 1924. One on Nov. 27, 1924, d. 1992 (lived in Rhode Island), and the other born June 2, 1924 (lived in NY.)

Looks like there's also two Armand BILOTTI's born in 1936, but don't see them on the 1940 census (quick look though.) Looks like one lived in Wisconsin & one on Staten Island, NY.

Armand BILOTTE, b. 6/2/1924, on the 1940 census in Brooklyn, NY:
Armand is the stepson of Salvatore SANTO. The 1940 census is free to access, so you can see the whole family in 1940 at www.familysearch.org

Armand Bilotti, born 11/27/1924, on the 1935 Rhode Island State census. He passed on in 1992.
Name: Armand Bilotti Event Type: Census Event Year: 1935 Event Place: Bristol, Rhode Island, United States Residence Place: 9 Kelly St, Warren, Bristol, Rhode Island Address: 9 Kelly St Gender: Male Marital Status: Single Race: White Number in Family:Birth Date: 27 Nov 1924 Birthplace: Rhode Island

Can you link me to Harry and Ruth?

I can but I didn't think you could really see it without a subscription:
Ancestry.com

Here's the index of it:

U.S. City Directories, 1821-1989 about Harry Bellottl
Name: Harry Bellottl
Gender: Male
Residence Year: 1948
Street address: 15th
Residence Place: St Paul, Minnesota
Occupation: Baker
Spouse: Ruth A Bellottl
Publication Title: St Paul, Minnesota, City Directory, 1948

The OCR picked up the "i" on the end of the name as an "l" instead. This why a search engine doesn't work all the time, even with soundex, it may not pick up all the OCR errors.
