A direct descendant, 10 generations removed, from John Chew.

We plan to visit Jamestown in the fall. Documentation does not pinpoint the exact site of Chew's dwelling, identifying it only as "near the Governor's mansion." I've visited the area before, merely noting it as an interesting historical location, but finding out about my connection with one of the early settlers means I'll be looking at the site with a very different perspective.
