Do have any Great-grandparents or Great-great grandparents still living?

I only have one Great-grandparent still living. My Maternal Grandfather mother who just turned 90. When I was born I had 3 Great-grandparents still living. one on My Dad side and two on My Mom side. My Father paternal Grandmother (My Paternal Grandfather mother) died when I was 7 and My Maternal Grandfather father died when I was 15. Although I only knew My Maternal Great-grandmother. My Paternal Grandparents were divorced and as far as I can remember I never met my Paternal Grandfather and My Father never met his Paternal Grandmother or at least hadn't seen her since he was very young.

My Maternal Grandfather parents divorce when he was 13 and his father moved to another state, My Grandfather was not close to his father I never met Grandpa father.

My Maternal Great-grandmother. Had 12 children. 6 From each Marriage. Her first was age 16 and last was age 40. she has 41 grandchildren and her number of Great-grandchildren and Great-great grandchildren combined is 70-80 with her total descendants being near or just above 130 (we kind of lost count but we know it in the 120s for sure). she outlvied Three of her children and sum of her grandchildren.

I never knew any of my great grandparents. The last one to die did so when I was four years old and I do not have any clear memories of him. I have a photo of him holding me when I was an infant.

I only knew one grandmother; my other grandparents all died in their 30s or 40s.

My children knew two of their great grandmothers.

certainly never knew my great grandparents but I am a great grandma 5 times, so these kids will always be able to say they knew their greats on one side. Our oldest is 9 and the youngest just under a year. We will see 2 of the tonight as a matter of fact.

All of my great grandparents would have been over 100 when I was born. They were born in the 1840's.

I don't, but my living grandfather is a great-grandfather to some of my cousins. There is a picture of me, my mom, my maternal grandmother, and her mother (my great-grandmother) but I was an infant and of course don't remember.

My maternal great grandparents died 19, 19 and 34 years before I was born. One died when I was 4. My paternal great grandparents died 15 and 4 years before I was born. I don't know about the two that did not emigrate to the U.S. from Poland. I knew three of my grandparents, but they died 40-50 years ago. My maternal grandmother was killed 6 years before I was born.

I have 9 grandchildren and 8 greats so they will be able to say they knew me.

I'm a Great Grandparent!
Just ask my Grandkids...they think I hang the moon!

Oh.. you mean GREAT like THAT... oh.. nope.
My Mom's dad died when I was 3 - her mom died when I was 8. They lived in VA and we lived in Florida. Only saw them during summer vacation.
My Dad's mom died when I was 12 - and his dad died when I was 16. They both were local to us, and I saw them all the time.
After my dad's mom died, my grandfather lived with us up until his death in '76. He was something else... He made Archie Bunker look like a Catholic Priest.... nobody was 'his equal' unless they were WASP's... his way of describing everybody was derogatory slang about their nationality... He was a piece of work... God rest his sole...

I have 5 grandchildren, age 17 to 21, and so I fully expect to be a great grandmother within the next 10 years. I have a great aunt still living, but she is the only one left of that generation.
