There isn't one. Starting to worry they are going to chicken out and not go through with it after all. I originally thought it was too late for that, but with Ancestry, you never know.

The updated regions for my great uncle make much more sense based on his extensive family tree. The updated regions for my wife's cousin were far worse.

Hopefully they will take the input of the users, tweak some things, and push the update down sooner rather than later.

I can say now though that their attempt to unify ethnicities like Italians and Greeks probably won't work. I am preaching to the choir here, but ethnicities are not the same as genetic clusters.

I've received the update and lost everyone of my trace regions. My new result is this.

I have 6 tests, they all show up to date when I open them. Mine and my daughter say current version May 2016 while hub and my son say June 2016; MIL 1 is Feb 2018; one doesn't say, just 3,000 reference samples; 363 regions on MIL #2

Yes it is correct. The new update for a lot of people has gotten rid of some of those odd trace regions. A lot of people are reporting that it is more in line with their known ancestry.

You haven't the update yet. They no longer use the same names e.g. they don't have Great Britain anymore but England & Wales, they have a Germanic Europe and break Scandinavia into Norway and a separate category for Sweden. They also have France on its own and also have broken Iberian Peninsula up with Spain its own category and also Portugal on its own. Not sure for all the other regions but you have the older version. They also have Ireland & Scotland as well.

Here's a video with all the updated regions.

You said the same thing on the first page of this topic, and I responded to let you know that Italy/Greece changed to Europe South last year and has nothing to do with the current update, therefore you haven't had the update yet.

According to my profile, I still have the May 2014 version. I know rolling out something like this takes awhile, but, darn it, Ancestry, hurry up!
