To honour the Canadians who served in WW1 a pop-up World War 1 Remembrance Day display at the SW corners of Eglinton Ave and Mt Pleasant in Toronto, Canada has been set up. There are 1000 men, women and families highlighted from WW1 era newspaper clippings from the Toronto Star's "Pages of the Past" with 100's being 48th Highlanders, PPCLI, Queens Own Rifles of Canada. The display will be in place until November 12th. Drop by and bring a poppy to add to the wall.
