Thank you for your help. My Granddad married a second time when his first wife died in child birth. First wife had 5 children from him and is my grandmother. Second wife had 12 children=total of 17. I would like to know if there is Any relationship between his 2nd wifes second child which born 3 girls. 3d child born from her- Am i related to the third girl born? or what would it be called? Thank you for any help to clear my confused mind.

I believe she would still be a great aunt to you and then her kids would be cousins. But someone else who is a bit more seasoned with this might be able to clarify.

If you share a grandfather, you are related.

If you're asking if you're DNA related you'd have to test to make sure the kids were by your grandfather

Yes, they are Cousins. She is the girl of your aunt. Or half aunt.
I have the same situation in my family. We have half aunts and half uncles. Their kids are our cousins.

you are half first cousins - sharing one grandparent, not two. Personally I would just they are my cousins.

It’s not clear if you’re talking about your grandfather or great grandfather. When you say “and is my grandmother” do you mean his first wife is your grandmother, or one of the 5 children is your grandmother? Also, are all 12 kids from the second wife the children of your “grandad”, or were some from a previous marriage of hers?

Assuming that your grandfather married your grandmother, had 5 kids with her, and in his second marriage to another women, had another 12 kids, then the 12 from his second marriage would be your parent’s half siblings, making them your half aunts/uncles. It does not matter what order they were born in. The children of those half aunts/uncles would be your half 1st cousins.
