I have to move from NJ to MA
Boss will pay upto 5 K for moving expenses.
Have a small 1 Bedroom . Going to similar size apt.None of my stuff is super-exclusive.
Will professional movers charge less than 5 k or should I pack myself and hire men just to do the labor of moving ?

Thanks

Your transportation costs won't be that much, but things will add up quicker than you realize if the carrier you hire has to pack and unpack everything or use smaller equipment to shuttle your things out of and/or into your new residence.

Part of your relocation expenses may involve down payments, deposits, or purchasing new/replacement furniture or personal items required for your new diggs. Get three in-home estimates from reputable movers whose offices are located near your home in Jersey and then decide how to proceed.

Get 3 estimates from the major carrier, North American Van Lines, United Van Lines, Atlas, Allied, Mayflower, based on my knowledge, you should be able to get this move completed for less than 5000.00
