ok i just moved from pennsylvania to minnesota. I went with this auto shipping company called new way moving services. Now, i scheduled my car for pickup by the 3rd so it can arrive on the 6th when i start work. well they explained the whole auto shipping process and i understand that these things take time. However, i have no way to get to work so i had to rent a car. I have no clue when my car is gonna be here. The dispatch person says it will be picked up 4 days after the transport date(Dec 6th) once it gets picked up, it takes 7 to 10 business days for the car to arrive. How the heck can i afford a car rental for almost 2 weeks? plus pay to get my car shipped. I thought about asking my job to cover the rental but i know they are gonna ask me to use my relocation money for this. i already used most of it to move into my condo, buy stuff for the house and car. and application fees.
Well you are moving from one salt state to another, so the car will rust away to worthlessness in less than 10 years anyway.
In that harsh environment I would have wanted to be on public transport, so I would not *have* to drive every day.
But, whatever.
