We have moved fairly frequently, usually we get ours forwarded through the post office, but we've had important things disappear too (like legal paperwork that clearly isn't junk mail).
The problem is that one of my hobbies is genealogy and when you're requesting copies from archives or cemetery records, etc. it can be costly and take weeks/months for responses. Looking for a way to have a longer term address in case this crosses a time when we move for this correspondence and contact from more distant relatives who might not realize we've moved.
Has anyone used a mail forwarding service? I guess a could get a POBox near a relative/friend and ask them to check and forward things, it might be a headache for them. So, looking for ideas.
What about a place like a Fed Ex store? Do they do that?
My mom's friend travels with her RV most of the year, but I think if you are an RVer they have mail stations in certain states. I don't think it's for just anyone to use though.
