Been in your shoes before.... Moved 57" HD wide screen rear projection from NW OH to NC. We only took this route because I couldn't replace it for what I could sell it for, and I really didn't have the cash for a replacement after moving. I had only paid $100 for it. This was 2007.

It didn't make the trip without damage. We were EXTREMELY careful how it was packed, supported and cushioned. We were lucky that we could fix the damage ourselves, and just recently sold it due to moving again for $100 to some college kids.

To sell on CL --- I advertised exactly what it was (including weight), what was wrong with it, and posted pics of it working. Potential buyers were offered to see it in person to ensure it worked. Advertised as "buyer must arrange pick up and transport." I priced it cheap as I needed it gone, and it sold within days.

What is the most economically way to ship this? Thank you.

I would sell it if it was me. You can get the flat screens so cheap that to me it is just no worth it to keep these huge clunkers anymore.
