My husband and I are 47 and currently live in Las Vegas we would like to move out of state, somewhere preferably by the beach! It doesn't have to be anywhere fancy just a simple affordable place where my husband can find a job in Construction and we can live out the remainder of our life! Got any Ideas anyone?

Not really.
The first two are tough enough on their own...
adding a beach into the mix though makes it about impossible.

God luck.

Simple, affordable and by the beach are somewhat mutually exclusive if you mean "by the beach".

Having said that, near the beach is doable in MD and DE.

Florida? Hot year round , esp southern which means contruction doesn't stop. There are affordable towns too and beach all but maybe 3 months a year when the water might be too chilly..

A friend of mine recently moved to Morro Bay California and LOVES it. Affordable housing by CA standards. It is near enough to San Luis Obispo (sp) that your husband may be able to find work.

I live in Surfside Beach, Texas. It is about 40 miles down the coast from Galveston. We are also near Freeport, which is where I work, in a chemical plant. It is affordable to live here and there are construction jobs available. If you want more information, PM me. It definitely is hot and humid several months a year (or maybe it would be better put that it is NOT hot and humid a couple of months a year) but it is affordable and there is work and you can live by the beach.
