How much stuff can you really fit in a smaller Relocube or a UBox?
According to my calculation, I could fit all my stuff into one Uhaul Ubox. But that cannot be!
Do you have photos of a large thick roll-arm sofa inside one of these cubes?
The promo videos show a lot of stuff being taken out of them, but I suspect those may be furniture that are selected to be slim-frame of a shape that fits well with the other items.

List:
- 2 leather sofas (7.5ftx3.5ftx3.5ft), one horizontally and one upside down on top of the other (180deg rotation)
- one king mattress
- one king bed (disassembled)
- One 6 person wood dining table (disassembled)
- 6 dining chairs (disassembled)
- one large but simple office desk, basically a 3ftx5ftx2" board plus legs (disassembled) no drawers
- one office chair
- 2 nightstands (22"x22"x30")
- several boxes and cretes on the top of the upper sofa or in front of the mattress.
- 50" TV
- bags of bedding stuff

You lost me at the 2) 7.5 ft leather sofas since the only way they would fit in a relocube is standing on end.

Standing in the relocube, but laying down in the uhaul ubox. Both cases the 2 sofas against each other like clam shell. In the relocube it would only have 4" margin above.

If you use Relocubes they will automatically send 2 which was a good thing in my case because I wound up used both. If you don't use the 2nd one you will not be charged for it.

Attached are pictures of my relocubes. I packed the first one with all boxes, and used the second one for my bed (full size) a rocker, a small desk (I took the legs off of it) and a couple of small bedside tables, AND anything else that didn't fit in the first cube. The rest of my furniture I sold. In retrospect, it would have been cheaper to go with the next largest size so you may want to take that into consideration.

Thanks. This is useful.
What is the price difference between 1 cube vs 2 cubes vs 16ft cube? 12ft seems to be un-available for long distance (coast to coast) moves.

Pricing should be on their website. I'm out of town for the week so I can't check my records for original cost. The estimated total was $2,971 for the 2 cubes (CT to Tampa FL)

Are you confusing U-Pack ReloCubes with PODS ? ReloCubes are only 1 size, 6x7x8

https://www.upack.com/moving-service...ainer-size.asp

If you need more space, have you looked into U-Pack's trailer option, where you pay by the foot ?
