That's interesting that you feel that way because the fact that I don't have much disposable income or a lot of free time made where I live more important to me.
I decided to move to a place where there are a lot of free or inexpensive ways to entertain myself, outdoor music concerts and festivals, lots of parks, plenty of lakes and rivers to enjoy, and gorgeous views around every turn so that even a simple drive to the grocery store is a pleasing experience.
I like being outside, and I moved away from a place where I really did not enjoy the weather. I always felt trapped indoors because of the long summer heat and high humidity. I've felt ever so much lighter in spirit ever since I moved away. It does really make a difference to some people.
