Help packing (move, house, hire, problems)

Hi everyone.

I am due to move in 3-4 weeks. Have had 5 people offer to help
Me pack. Only 1 couple came thru which put me in a bind!

I am disabled- hygiene & cooking w/light house keeping about my max.
Back, feet, knees & hands problematic.
Don't mind hard work yet don't want further injury.

I called a church which was supposed to help pack for my last
Move. No one answered or called bk. ended up paying movers
To pack.

Not enough $ for that now. Anyone have experience here?
The couple who came through, from my church are elderly &
Have back problems. I guess they get it!

Ideas? Hire local handyman type?

Contact the local Boy Scout troops or Girl Scout troops. Here in NY they will do that kind of work as a community service but the adult must be there to supervise. In addition, there are many church related and service organizations that will at least be able to guide you where you might go for a hand.
