Call a couple moving companies. I'm sure you can get express service if you're willing to pay extra.

When we moved we didn't try to get our belongings moved quickly, but it only took a few days to get my horse from NC to WA.

Probably between one to three weeks. plus theyll offer a month a free storage. call a few places to get quotes. some charge by weight while some charge by amount of truck space taken. typically its not a straight drive. you stuff will get loaded sent to a depot. change trucks then sent to another depot and so on... just google or try the forum sections that are specific to the city you want to go to to see what companies are most popular.

A single driver can legally make the trip in five days; a team in two and a half.

Transit times in the moving industry aren't just determined by distance between origin and destination.

Type of service requested, size of shipment, access/egress restrictions, other customer's schedules, weather conditions, the truck driver's available hours-of-service on his logs, traffic conditions and unexpected delays delayed house closings or failure of a customer to obtain elevator, street parking or dock reservations can all affect transit service.
