I am a student moving between graduate schools. I am going to move from Baltimore, MD to Ithaca, NY. I am thinking about moving my belongs near the end of Dec or beginning of Jan:
- three luggages, each of which has 158 cm i.e. 62 inches as the sum of three dimensions, and a small suitcase
- probably 7 boxes of books, bed stuffs (sheet, quilt, pillow), utensils, small electronic apparatus (little heater, fan, ...), stationeries, ....
I have a small sofa bed (only narrowly holding one single person), and a small desk. I am not sure if it is worth moving these stuffs.
I am also considering to send some books to some scan services, so that I will keep electronic copies of some books, saving me from moving with me.
What are your suggestions about
- what stuff are worth to move, and how to deal with those that are not worth moving
- how to move those worth moving? What are some economic moving services available?
