Chase is a nationwide bank. Have you considered going into branch management? Lots of local branches here you could train/move to, then relocate to another branch somewhere else.
The flexibility will be much greater in relocating than staying in your area. I worked for BofA and branch management was the door upwards and outwards.
I have been away from the computer but got the chance to read everyone's replies and thank you all. I decided the best way to make a sound decision on where to move to is to take a trip and visit some of the cities.
I have lived several places and am familiar with the climates in Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, California, and Colorado. I do like four seasons but am not fond of snow that lingers for months. Especially driving in it. So I have ruled out the Midwest (lived in the area for over 10 years). I lived in the Mojave desert in California for 3 years and the dry heat often caused nose bleeds so I am not fond of moving to an area where there is extreme dry heat.
If anything the only places I would possibly consider looking into, although not necessarily moving to, is south of Seattle. I once thought of Spokane but after reading how much snow the area gets, I say no. I also may look into the suburbs area of Portland and Medford, Oregon which I read is a good location for retirees. Denver is still a possibility as well as Altanta area. I would have to give North Carolina some thought. No matter which place I choose, ethnic diversity would be welcomed since I am Japanese. I have purposely chosen to not live in small towns because of the problems I faced with not being accepted there during my younger years.
