Large TV's. 70" Flat Screen. 46" flat Screen.

For a long distance move: Seattle to MN. Using a pod or something similiar.

You can purchase tv boxes from moving companies if you don't have the original. You could also try asking some place like walmart if you could have one of theirs from a display model.

The biggest issue is that it should travel upright, especially if you have a plasma tv.

In addition, packing distributors such as U-Line have TV shipping boxes such as these:
Flat Screen TV Box, Flat Panel TV Boxes in Stock - ULINE

or you can use their picture frame shipping boxes which are padded like these:
Art Box, Art Boxes in Stock - ULINE

or you can just get foam like this:

and make your own.

Of course, several comforters or moving pads can also do the job.

I know this is going to sound crazy but I wrapped mine in a blanket and then bubble wrap and then another blacket and taped it all up and it worked and you should be fine doing this .Good luck and best wishes on your move .

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the help! Lets hope our tv's make it back to MN in one piece. We had them crated when we moved out however, crating is expensive and last time company was paying. Now we are!
