I don't know anyone that can help me move.......I can't get ABF, not enough stuff. I can't get a tow dolly for my car because of the age, and type. I would just chuck it all and take just a few things, but I have several things that I have to take, such as things given to me by mom who died. Mainly furniture! Acckk!! I will be needing to do this move quickly too.

Have you checked with UHaul? They may be able to help you.

Use U-Haul and tow your car behind you- they rent those trailer things. We did it for a 400 mile move and it worked out just fine.

Ucandoit - You can do it! What about what aragx6 said? I've moved that way too, did it for about 700 miles, and it went well. You could try the same thing. Or if youre in a hurry to leave, why dont you just store your things where youre at now, and then you can come back with more time and drive them in a U-haul truck.

Good luck.

I'm sorry i definitely read that incorrectly. I thought you meant you could drive your car and tow anything behind it.

In that case I'd check with Pods. I've never used them, but I definitely thought about it.

Oops, I guess I misunderstood too.

Yeah I'd look into Pods too then. Or like I said, if youre in a hurry or dont have the $ at the moment, leave your stuff behind in a warehouse and come back for it later and drive it to where ever youre moving to.

What about a small U-haul truck or van and tow your car behind it?

Also try Craigslist in your area and the area you are going to and advertise for help.

It doesnt make sense that you say they cannot tow your vehicle. You just have to rent the tow dolly along with the truck. You may have to get a bigger truck to do this but there is no reason they should be telling you no. Unless your under 21 then you'll have to find someone to rent it for you.

Or as others have said, put everything in storage until you can work everything out.
