It looks like we are going to close on our co-op in Brooklyn on March 31 -- and in between now and then I have to finish a course, give a month's notice at work (I need the reference and its only fair to my clients - I'm a therapist), find someone to take over supervising my grad student on the job, find a place to live in Charleston and GO!

Probably asked before BUT can anyone recommend a long-distance mover on the the East Coast that can pack up a 1BR and move it from Brooklyn to Charleston, SC? I'd just as soon not pack everything but some stuff is already packed. I just can't risk my back and had a hernia less than 4 months ago so. Rather spend money and have things arrive in one piece than go cheap and have my stuff destroyed...its really not that much stuff...

ANY AND ALL SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE WELCOME!!

Do you have Two Men and a Truck in Brooklyn? I have used them a couple of times in Georgia and they were very, very careful with my stuff. They charge by the hour for packing, so you can pack as much as you want and let them do the rest.
