relocation pointers (job transfer, job, move to, new location)

im planning to move to to the out skirts of atlanta sometime soon was waiting on job transfer but that fell through wife works in retail mgt and without getting job we are stuck so plan b is to start applying in atlanta but thats kind of diffucult ! waht if they call for an interview? i have kids so winging it is not an option

that is tough. i think companies dont like to hire people while they are out of state. so unless you transfer with a job, you may have to go to your new destination and strt applying from there.
since your wife is in retail, does the company she works for have stores near the new location? maybe she can get a transfer. i know you must have already thought of that...
