Who would I hire to move a few items to a local storage facility? (trucks, temp)

Would moving companies do this, and how much would they charge? The only item I couldn't handle myself would be my treadmill desk (basically a treadmill that sits under a standing height desk)

I'd have enough items for a 5X10.

Do a google or yelp search in your area for moving help. Should get a number of places/people. Some have their own truck/labor, others just the labor.

I recently did this for a move for help on some heavy bulky items. Most of the rates for labor alone was around $125 for two people for two hours minimum.

The best option is often the teenage son of a friend... or two

Pay them a flat rate of $50 or $100 depending on how much work, how long it takes.

find a friend with a truck and a couple of strong men!! Pizza and beer! offer to buy a tank of gas. Home Depot has trucks you can rent- like $19 and hour - most storage facilities have push carts that will roll to your unit.
