Within the next few years, my wife and I will want to spend summers someplace warmer. Te cold is really getting to her, and she has health issues that seem to flare when the weather is cold.

We's like a community because we want someplace with a lot of transplants to make it easier to get to know others. It doesn't have to be a community, but any place where people are friendly, and from a variety of places, would be good.

We know people who live in the Villages in the winter and they love it. Major differences, they are much more conventional than we are. They are avid golfers, and we are not. They are more politically conservative than we are, and report that others share their opinions.

My wife and I lean progressive. She is slightly Bohemian and enjoys yoga and practices Reiki.I like professional sports, out door activities such as hiking. We both don't eat meat but enjoy fish and seafood. We are not health nuts, although we take care of ourselves. We enjoy cocktail hour. We like rock music - old and some new. I'm a car enthusiast. She likes cooking, dance, and decorating, also collecting mid century modern viking vases.

Is there any community or area that we should explore? We are not grand parents and our adult children are out of the house, on their own, college grads and one is still attending.

Lots of great 55+ communities in the Las Vegas valley that would fit. Our community hikes almost every day in the cool months......great hiking here.

Spend summers warmer? Mid 80s too cold for you in Ohio? But you will stay in Ohio for the freezing winter? That makes no sense.

Made a mistake - I meant to write "WINTERS". I'm sorry.

Most of us understood what you meant.

Visit Bisbee, AZ. Check it out on the web. Very bohemian.
