Tallie- it depends on your situation, time frame, and budget. A lot of people will have a moving company pack their whole house, but that does add a lot of cost to the move. I know when I had a 8 month old and pregnant with the second, All My Sons Moving & Storage packed my whole house for me. One thing I did that helped was I had the packers label the boxes by the room they were in and did not have them mix up any rooms. Yes, I had some boxes not 100% filled, but made it a lot easier for unpacking. I then marked the rooms at the new house so they knew where to put them. I also had some stuff go into their storage so I labeled all that with a big X so they knew not to pack it.
