If you have used pods to move, did you insure the pod and contents?

We did while moving from St. Paul, MN to Pittsburgh. We didn't insure the pod and contents and I think it was probably the right move. If you pack things the most efficient way to avoid damage etc I think you should be alright.

Lemme know if you have any more questions.

I'm curious though, do you mean insurance to also include theft or loss? Because every time I see those things it seems easy to just come along and load one in the truck and drive away. Yes, it would need to be a commercial truck like "Office Depot" box type, but criminals might consider this.

There is insurance for the contents and the pod itself - now I'm wondering whether our homeowner's insurance wouldn't cover the contents while in our driveway - I'll check on that. The insurance is $10 a month to cover the cost of the actual pod - if someone ran into with a car, drove away with it, spray painted it, etc.
